Gympie residents have crowned Beefy’s their Best Meat Pie for the second year running! In an online reader poll, readers of The Gympie Times were asked to vote for their best local pie shop.
Beefy’s bigger, better, beefier Pies scored 28 per cent of the final vote, putting the pie maker well in front of its nearest competitors.
“It’s an absolute privilege to be honoured by our customers in this way,” says Beefy’s Mark Hobbs.
“We don’t set out to win awards – for us it’s all about baking great tasting pies that our customers love – but when we do win, particularly when it’s a customer vote, we couldn’t be more grateful for the support.”

Located at 98 River Road, Beefy’s Gympie store is a favourite with locals and travellers.
“Everyone has their favourite Beefy’s Pie but our Signature Steak is one of our most popular,” says Beefy’s Gympie Store Manager Hester Moore. “People really like the chunky, tender steak pieces, rich gravy and crisp, flaky pastry. We have our regulars who simply can’t get enough of it.”

Beefy’s Signature Steak Pie, Steak, Bacon and Cheese Pie and Steak and Cracked Pepper Pie all come in traditional and gluten free pastry.
